At EazyCity, we believe that arriving in a new city should feel exciting — not overwhelming.

That’s why we’re launching something special for our international students and young professionals in Cork:

The EazyCity Landmark Selfie Hunt

A fun, interactive city challenge designed to help students explore Cork, connect with each other, and create memories from their very first weeks in Ireland.

It Starts at Our Landmark Wall

The adventure begins in our office.

We’ve created a dedicated EazyCity Landmark Wall, where the original prints — drawn by artist and illustrator Jason O’Gorman — are proudly displayed. His artwork beautifully captures the spirit, colour, and character of Cork.

Cork has many incredible landmarks, and while the city offers far more than we could ever fit on one wall, we’ve carefully selected a few iconic places to kick off the hunt and inspire exploration.

Before heading out, students gather at the wall, discover the featured landmarks, and get ready for the challenge.

Then… the hunt begins.

🏃‍♀️ How the Selfie Hunt Works

Students participate in small groups.

  • Minimum: 2 participants
  • Maximum: 6 participants per hunt

The goal? Visit the selected landmarks around Cork and take creative selfies at each location.

✔️ Discover the real places behind the illustrations
✔️ Explore the city centre in a fun and structured way
✔️ Meet other international students
✔️ Compete for the fastest time

🏆 Prize: The participant with the fastest time wins a €50 Tesco voucher, and every participant receives a €15 Tesco voucher.

Because yes — a little healthy competition makes it even more fun.ts!

More Than a Game

Moving abroad is about more than accommodation — it’s about belonging.

The Selfie Hunt helps students:

  • Feel confident navigating Cork
  • Learn the geography of the city
  • Build independence from day one
  • Connect with their new surroundings
  • Create shared experiences with other students

Instead of just living in Cork, they start experiencing it immediately.

💛 Supporting Local Creativity

We are proud to support local talent like Jason O’Gorman, whose original prints are displayed in our office for students and visitors to enjoy.

Art connects people to place — and through this initiative, we’re bringing art, culture, and real-life exploration together.

📍 Start & Finish: EazyCity Cork

The hunt begins and ends at our Cork office (112 Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork), where students return, share their photos, and celebrate their discoveries.

It’s simple.
It’s interactive.
It’s social.
And it’s very Cork.
